I didn’t have time to work on my poem yesterday.
Today I’m just going to see how I am going to make this poem rhyme:
A – Angel usually kind and good
B – Banshee crying tears of blood
C – Crow brings a message in black
D – Dragon will burn you into a tasty snack?/brings a fiery attack?
E – Elf with his bow and arrow has straight aim
F – Fairy magic is their game?
G – Giant makes a tremendous sound?
H – Hobbit his house is under the ground
I – Imp is a pest and won’t let you rule? pool? pull?
J – The Jester/Joker is no fool
K – Knight rides on his steed, bold
L – Leprechaun can be found at the end of an rainbow with a pot of gold
M – Mermaid is a woman but also a fish
N – Necromancer has a death wish
O – Ogre is always hungry and out to kill
P – Pirate makes his living by steal(ing)
Q – The Red Queen shouts: “Off with her head!”
R – Red Cap should have listened to what her mother said/is going to visit his gran in bed
S – Sorcerer brave? gave? pave? save? wave?
T – Troll is slow and lives in a cave
U – Unicorn is a horse with a horn
V – Vampire is a blood-thirsty anti-morn(ing)
W – Witch bone? gone? moan? now you see her, now she’s gone?
X – Excalibur is King Arthur’s magic sword in the stone
Y – Yeti lives in the snow and is white
Z – Zombie is a flesh eating foe and likes to bite!
